I first began working with the Hatmill team in October 2020 and now I’m a Non-Executive Director on Hatmill’s Operating Board. As well as being a NED and Executive Coach, I have 5 years PLC Board level experience and spent 15 years in a Data Science consultancy including a number of years as MD prior to that. I am passionate about the difference great people can make to businesses and spend my time helping leaders and their companies deliver results.
Supporting the team to deliver great work for our clients
I am a numerate business leader and data professional and use my expertise to operate independently as either a non-executive director or strategic business advisor having started my own business in July 2020. I originally joined the Hatmill team in October 2020 whilst working with Leeds Business School as part of their Exceptional NED programme. Following completion of the programme and transfer of ownership of Hatmill to the employees in March 2021 I joined the Operating Board of the company as a NED.
I am a registered business coach with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and I am a qualified assessor of Emotional Intelligence using EQ-i 2-0 from Multi-Health Systems. My coaching skills complement my NED work, as well as allowing me to operate as an independent business coach (following the EMCC standards and code of ethics).
Prior to working as a NED/Executive coach and running my own business I was a member of the PLC Board at Jaywing (a £30m t/o 350 person marketing agency with a strong focus on data science) and worked for the company in various roles for 20 years during which I consulted for many large banks on the use of data and analytics.
I am passionate about the difference great people can make to businesses and spend my time helping leaders and their companies deliver results.
